Lee will fade off in the 2nd half, so that he will lead 0 of the Crown categories. Pujols will continue to do what he does every year, and with no Bonds to steal it from him, he will win MVP.

Without Bonds, the MVP voting will be fair this year and someone who deserves it will win.

you do realize that lee has like 40 more points on his BA than the next person, who is pujols, it's unlikely that his BA will fall 40 points, i can see it slipping, but not 40 points

But if Pujols improves about 20 points and Lee slips about 20, they're a dead heat. BTW, I love Lee as I am a diehard Cubs fan, but I don't believe he can hold onto the Triple Crown. He does deserve the MVP though.

20 points is even a lot, he hasn't showed any sign of slowing down, he is batting over .400 in the last month or so, if anything, he is hitting better. and you never know what the cubs could pull to bring in people to get on base ahead of him batting, which would mean more RBIs.
i think carlos lee is going to slow down on the RBIs, i mean, it's the brewers, they can only have guys hit and get on base in front of him for so long

Yeah but Pujols is prooven, Lee isn't, so there is more likely hood of Lee slipping off and Pujols staying the same or gaining.

so thats how you decide things? cause one is proven, lol, lee is proving himself now, you have no evidence that he will in fact drop off, he has shown nothing that says he is dropping, if anything, he is doing better now than he was in the beginning of the season

I gurantee that Lee will not win the triple crown. If he does, he deserves MVP. If he doesn't you give it to Pujols, for the same reason Sosa won it over McGwire back in 98.
